Democrats Block Fairfax Sexual Assault Hearing

Democrats once again show their reliance on double standards to avoid what could very well be an enlightening look at Virginia’s Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax’s sexual proclivities. As usual when one of their own party is accused of wrong doings, they begin to circle the wagons. In the case of the sexual assault accusations which have been lodged by two women who came out in public last month on national television, the party is not willing to agree to a hearing by a bi-partisan committee concerning these allegations.

House Speaker Kirk Cox R-Colonial Heights has stated that Democratic Eileen Filler-Corn D-Fairfax has repeatedly turned down offers for a bi-partisan hearing offered by House Courts Committee Chairman Rob Bell R- Albemarle, to hear testimony from the three parties. The hearing would have consisted of equal number Republicans and Democrats. It appears that the Democrats have no interest in finding out the facts behind these claims. On the other hand, if it was a Republican who was being accused they would be chomping at the bit.

Sexual assault is a horrible situation for anyone to have to deal with and it is especially unfortunate when a woman is attacked by a Democrat because there is even less chance for justice. Just ask Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones or Juanita Broaddrick.
